Saturday 14th June 2008 saw the second Tellington Touch (TTouch) dog workshop ever to take place in Northern Ireland in Doagh, Co. Antrim. Once again participants demonstrated their deep bond of respect and understanding between themselves and their K9 companions and how each participant was interested in learning a new way of communicating and working with their dogs in a respectful and non-violent manner. There was a delightful range of dogs from Charlie the bullmastiff through to Archie the Westie. As ever TTouch Clinician Micky Parker was on hand to help with the various issues owners had identified and required some help with. Micky’s level headed and sympathetic approach married with her in depth knowledge ensured owners and their companions went away happy and confident with new ideas and ‘tools’ to add to their training regimes.
